New deck frames

I've completed the new deck frames. The old frames had been broken and repaired a few times, so I thought something stronger to support the bowsprit and mast at deck height would be necessary. I will put a strong frame down the centre and some lighter frames in between to support the foredeck. The old deck beams were full of steel screws and nails as well, so it was easier to replace the beams rather than trying to get them out.

The next job is to build a steam box to steam bend some new ribs and the new gunwales.
