Transom repair

Today's work was to cut out the rot in the transom and glue in a new piece of wood. Quite an easy job, and I was pleased that the rot was only on the top 2cm or so of the transom and not any more. The whole top of the transom is quite rough, so I will probably take 5mm or so off the whole top edge to clean it up.
I have clamped the starboard side top plank to the transom with a twitched rope and I'll screw that back on before removing the rope.

I also took the chance to glue and clamp some of the split planks and gaps here and there with the left over glue. I will also screw these on securely before removing the clamps. I used epoxy glue for all the repairs.
